Tips for storing D’Anjou pears
As Da’Anjou pears green color does not change when it ripens:
- It can be tested by slightly pressing it near the stem to see if it responds more softly
- Leave D’Anjou pears stored in room temperature for 3-5 days to ripen
- After that, you can refrigerate the fruit to prevent over-ripening
- Refrigeration will only slow the ripening process but wouldn’t stop it
